Mountain View – Large Colorful Abstract Nature Landscape on Canvas Original Artwork by Maria C Bernhardsson

Description

Maria C Bernhardsson’s original artworks are influenced by the architecture and geometry of houses. Born in Sweden, Bernhardsson travels the world photographing and sketching houses to use as inspiration for her canvas and paper artworks. Her paintings include subtle layering of colors and shadows of individual houses in conjunction with the overall feeling of gazing at a collection of buildings in an abstract urban landscape.

This 39-inch tall and 65-inch wide one-of-a-kind original acrylic on canvas artwork is signed by Bernhardsson in the lower right corner. This artwork is unframed. It requires framing to be properly displayed. Free Los Angeles area delivery. Affordable Continental US and worldwide shipping. A certificate of authenticity issued by the gallery is included.

Even with Bernhardsson’s focus on bold colors and combinations, her artworks convey a level of warmth, comfort, and familiarity. The abstract layering of the subjects within her artworks creates an ambiguity that leads to a reassuring comfortableness.

Bernhardsson often paints in strong colors, in many nuances, and in a lot of layers. She describes it like this: “The colorway is very important to me when I paint. I love to combine as many colors as possible at the same time. Contrasts, strong colors/ bright pastels, plain/structured, dark/bright in a cubistic, skewed, dreamy, and naive way.” Her artworks have been exhibited worldwide, including in New York, Los Angeles, and Hong Kong.See
