Monumental Daniel Becker ‘Emily 7’ Chandelier in White and Oak for Moss Objects

Description

Monumental Daniel Becker ‘Emily 7’ Chandelier in White and Oak for Moss Objects. Designed by Berlin luminary Daniel Becker and handmade to order using modern and mid-century manufacturing techniques, the Emily Series won the prestigious German Design Award 2019. The high quality sheet steel shades are cut, bent, formed, welded and sanded by hand in a complex process to build natural, organic shapes before they are painted semi-matte white and fitted with opaline PMMA diffusers. Then they are arranged in a mobile like fashion around a sculptural frame of waxed oak timber.
