Classic Fiore Stone Cherub Wall Fountain With Integrated Pump – A Timeless Garden Accent

Description

Offered here is a romantic and evocative Fiore Stone wall fountain, richly adorned with sculpted cherubs in high relief and elevated by a classical pedestal base. This stately piece, crafted in California by Fiore Stone Inc., is a hallmark of the company’s enduring legacy in cast stone artistry, blending old-world charm with enduring craftsmanship.

Dating to the late 20th century—circa 1985–1995—this fountain was likely introduced as part of Fiore’s premium garden décor line. The cast stone construction employs a dense, hand-poured concrete mixture, colored throughout for longevity and finished with a soft, weathered terra cotta patina that has matured beautifully with time. Unlike cheaper resin or fiberglass alternatives, this solid composition ensures resistance to both temperature fluctuations and decades of outdoor use.

The fountain’s design is anchored by a sculptural backplate featuring two playful cherubs Putti)in mid-motion—each modeled with exceptional detail and classical proportion. Water cascades gently from a central basin into the wide bowl below, creating a serene auditory and visual experience. Its acanthus-adorned pedestal base further echoes Italian Renaissance motifs, lending weight and elegance to the overall silhouette.

Ideal for mounting against a garden wall, courtyard backdrop, or patio alcove, this piece includes a built-in recirculating pump and requires only a nearby power source to bring it to life. Installing it on a masonry or stucco surface using a discreet French cleat or anchor bolts ensures both stability and security while allowing the sculpture to breathe as a vertical focal point. This fountain’s presence far surpasses that of molded plastic garden features or metal fountains prone to rust, adding investment-level character to any outdoor setting.

A true heirloom-quality accent, this Fiore Stone fountain would be perfectly at home in a Tuscan-inspired villa, formal garden, or even as a statement piece in a conservatory. Its combination of decorative richness and structural integrity reflects the kind of quality increasingly rare in today’s mass-produced alternatives.See
