Antique Gilt Bronze Urn Mortar

Description

A beautiful solid bronze antique gilt apothecary mortar in an urn shape. This is a very heavy piece, and possibly from a mid 19th century either English or French chemist shop.

We’d style this as a very stylish way to store a few pens on a desk, in a bookcase on a stack of books, or a place to hide your keys by the door.

No pestle included.
