This is an exemplary Biedermeier sewing table from the former Ritter Antik Gallery in NYC. It was part of the owner’s personal collection. The table is crafted with a veneer in book match walnut and ebony detailing. The top lifts up to reveal multiple compartments and the original pin cushion. It also has a hidden drawer which is released by pulling the latch underneath the table (see photo) and the original key is fully operational. It’s a gem!See

It is in excellent condition and structurally sound. The former owner who specialized in Biedermeier, brought the piece from Germany, fully restored it, and kept it as part of his personal collection.
