A Pointillist View of a Woman

Description

The artist had a lot to say. Why else spend the intense focus and time on rendering such a luminous work brought to completion literally point by point in tiny dots? Ask yourself: Are you that patient?
How do you see this? Is this a woman in her bath, arm draped over the side? The room adorned with geometric wallpaper. Her mind transversing between the vineyards and the melon slices awaiting her for lunch? Or is she, herself, a painter, carrying her painting of two melon slices? And next will be the modern vineyard and mountain scene. With an abstract in green and brown to follow? (Or is she angrily breaking up with an artist and is heading out to the firepit?) Lots of questions. Then, the mysterious code (right edge, midpoint); deep research reveals nothing. Whatever the painter visualized, here is a woman with a lot on her mind.See
