1990s Custom Hand-Upholstered Rustic Settee

Description

This rustic settee was hand-reupholstered in 2024 from a bare frame with all new materials in western North Carolina.

The outside back consists of a Brazilian cowhide with an alligator embossed design, while the inside back is Italian leather. The seat cushion is upholstered with high-performance fabric, and the frame is adorned in hand-tacked nailhead trim, with embroidered pillows embellishing this muted yet striking aesthetic. This piece also consists of 8-way hand-tied springs in lieu of sinuous spring options.See
