1970s Mason’s Ironstone Blue Mandalay Lamp on Brass Base

Description

This is an exceptional lamp from Mason’s Ironstone, the British manufacturer of fine ceramics. The pattern is known as Blue Mandalay, the design being a transfer on the white ceramic which is then painted by hand. These lamps are normally mounted on a wooden base, but this one has been mounted on a brass base, giving it a refined Asian touch. This lamp is in remarkably good vintage condition. There are no issues to mention other than a small dent in the brass base (refer to picture 10). I currently have a number of other Mason’s Ironstone lamps for sale here on Chairish.
