1940s Original Hand Made Rattan by Paul Frankl, His Historic Multi-Strand Square Pretzel Sofa and Chaise Lounge- 2 Pieces

Description

A rare multi-strand set living room set. A museum-quality six-strand square pretzel sofa and five-strand chaise lounge were designed by Paul T. Frankl using the highest-quality grade A rattan poles and reeds available and restored by rattan experts to ensure structural integrity and longevity. Made of steam-bent rattan poles, the chair features Frankl’s hallmark decorative wicker woven wrappings made of rattan strips.

The chaise lounge is in two separate pieces, the chair from the footrest, and takes a single-piece cushion.
